Abstract
Chronic renal failure is a syndrome presents symptoms and signs related to the functional disturbance resulting from one or more of these three features: (1) glomerular dysfunction (2) tubular dysfunction (3) glomerulartubular imbalance, and shows complicated clinical patterns associated with underlying diseases and its complications.
Although there is much variation in the clinical and pathophysiological features of chronic renal failure in early stage, they all tend to become similar as renal failure progresses.
Much information of value concerning renal function tests has been obtained during recent years, however most such procedures are not readly adaptable to routine clinical use.
In this paper, some of the important clinical features and physicochemical disorders of chronic renal failure will be briefly discussed.
